Dreaming of Syria was created through a collaboration between New Neighbours and Rasa, and is a one-day festival where you are immersed in the tradition and culture of Syria before the war. Listen to the language of the streets and enter a café where enchanting music is played. Discover 1001 new tastes, smells, images and stories of musicians and artists. A day filled with the stories of the people who had to leave their country behind but still dream about it. We asked Syrians in the Netherlands to share their photos and memories and we designed the publication and campaign. DJ Matrub closed the evening and laid the foundation for the Dabke Nights.
