Since the very first Labour Day – in 1890 – 1 May has been all about struggle and international solidarity. Back then, we fought for the eight-hour working day, today we fight against the income crisis. In the exhibition Long live the day of struggle and solidarity: in a century of 1 May posters, curated and designed by us, we show where we come from and what we are building on.

We use the exhibition as a framework to restore a lost tradition; the 1 May poster. We designed the first new poster in this series, as a triptych. The 2024 poster was also designed by us.

In addition, we were responsible for the design of the festival, worked together with Kapitaal.
