rickshaw-wallet1Wallets made from recycled canvas, originally used for the roofs of bicycle-rickshaws. Rickshaw artists aim to decorate the vehicles with as much drama and color as possible, and paint images that are both simple and memorable. This is street art for the ordinary man, and it’s unashamedly commercial. Tangail, where we photographed this very rickshaw art is famous in Bangladesh for its decorations.

deep-sea tales

Imagine to have a box full of letters; a complete alphabet, every single letter at least once. Now you start throwing all the letters randomly at the floor, and you read. To see if it makes sense. If not, you throw again. And again. And again. First words will exist, and since you have all the time of the world, eventually a complete sentence will form. Well, in fact, the ocean is a box full of letters, and with every tide it spits it’s stories on the beach. And most of the time we are just not watching.
